“Our experience at Cetrella was simply amazing. Service is five stars from the beginning to the end of our visit: sincere, genuine greetings from the owner and the servers, feels like visiting friends instead of dining in a restaurant. Our visit was during COVID so we were seated at the patio outdoors, it just happened so the weather was perfect and the sunset mesmerizing, perfect for a Thursday evening outing. The food: everything is flavorful, fresh, well-executed, and artistically-plated. We had the chilled English pea soup as the starter... delicate flavors with refreshing taste, topped with beautiful fresh flowers. Blue crab cakes were cooked to perfection with seasoning that enhanced the sweet crab meat. Filet mignon with black truffle potato dauphinois with fondu de poireaux melted leek... I'm still dreaming about it as I type. It's a balanced master piece, the plat de resistance that you anticipate and that delivers. Finally, the chocolate fondant cake with caramel ganache melting heart... the perfect ending note to a gastronomical experience of a dinner. I've had the chance to dine at amazing restaurants around the world, can't believe that we've just found this gem in our South Bay "backyard".”

“My wife and I walked into the Los Altos store as our first stop looking into re-carpeting the upstairs of our house and were fortunate enough to meet Jay Goodrich. What a gem! Jay gave us plenty of room to browse and talk over our preferences, then answered questions and made suggestions based on what we wanted, that lead us to what turned out to be a great choice of carpet style, color and price. He really went out of his way to find us the best deal that met our needs. He promised a seamless (excuse the pun) installation process and it was. The crew was amazingly efficient, removing the old carpet and installing the new carpet with minimal disruption. It looks great. Even now, several months later, when I go upstairs I think, "Wow, why didn't we do this sooner?" Thank-you Jay!”

“Absolutely amazing school, teachers, staff and kids. We searched, probed, and visited every private school close to our area and after getting amazing result from WonderYears, Pinewood was a fantastic extension of our daughter's education. We liked that the school has very small, absolutely tiny class sizes. Each student gets almost undivided attention. When other parents were telling us there were 3 classes of 30 kids for kindergarten, our daughter had 6. We like that the kids rotate classrooms for each subject. Pinewood teaches a grade ahead. The teachers and administration are extremely responsive and quickly work to resolve any issues. I am always able to get a hold of any one at Pinewood through email or phone and they also have the same access to us. The school is a little expensive but the cost-benefit makes it worth every penny and more.”
