“Ruth, I wanted to tell you that Jordan just killed at the audition yesterday. The director came out and told me that he has a great voice. There were four or five people auditioning him and they just went wild for the two songs (they told him that he was the best person they have heard sing so far). Jordan had auditioned there last year and though he got a call back, did not get the part. The casting director (who was at the audition last year) told him that his voice was much stronger, had much better tone and control. She asked he what he had been doing and he of course told her that he was working with you. She wants him to come there on Saturday's to take her musical theater class. The reason why he has improved so much in the last year and gained so much confidence in his singing ability is all because of you! His working with you has meant the world to him and to us. You have made a big difference in his life and have shown him what it takes and have given him the ability to learn how to be a very good singer. I know Jordan wants to thank you for all you have done for him. Jan and I want to send you a HUGE thank you for not only teaching him so well, but for the effort and the willingness to work with him on short notice and pretty much fit him in when he needs your help.
