(August 23, 2023, 11:57 am)Volunteers care for these donkeys who are neighborhood celebrities. Be sure to drop by some Sunday morning at 10:00 and give them a scratch on the ears. Also, you could pet the donkeys.

(January 22, 2019, 6:46 pm)This is a really fun hidden gem in Palo Alto! A lot of great little walking trails surround this area as well. The donkeys are friendly and will walk right up to the fence to say hello and let you pet them. One of the donkeys was the model for donkey in Shrek!

(June 10, 2018, 1:35 pm)I went at 10 on Sunday but they were still in their pen area. I asked the donkeys questions about their lives but they didn’t answer.
