Great spot to escape the city and take a walk near the bay.
Walk along the levees, good birding spot most months of year, especially October to June. Uplands trail too. Education center has excellent public programs in weekends. During week, educational events with schools. So close to high tech and peaceful, fills my need for space and nature
We tend to go to this park during the winter holidays when the visitor center is closed and you can count thee other visitors on two hands. This is a very natural park with beautiful salt marshes and many varieties of birds. It can get a tad windy though so bring an extra layer of clothes!
