Action Day Schools - Allen

We started at Action Day Primary Plus at Allen when our daughter turned one. Three years, and one son later, we still couldn't be happier with the care and love our kids receive at Action Day. The entire staff treat us like family, and we feel the same about them. You can see that they honestly care about our kids, and it makes me feel so much better going to work everyday knowing that my kids are at a place that is not only safe but caring as well.

The infant center is amazing. Our son started at 4 months, and I never had to worry about him. The caregivers are great about addressing each child's unique needs and each parents (even crazy) requests. They are also great about keeping parents informed on your child's day (i.e. eating, drinking, diaper changes, developments, and milestones), and they expect to receive daily updates from parents as well so they know exactly what is going on with your child. Miss. Becca (the infant center director) is also good about communicating with parents via e-mail and even sending out a video of the kids in class now and then.

I have also been impressed with my daughters development in the pre-school program. They have weekly themes and learning objectives, but most importantly, they are instilling a love of school and learning in the kids. I have no doubt that the skills my daughter has learned at Action Day will keep her ahead of the game when she gets to school.

All that being said, the main reason we have been so happy at Action Day is because our kids love it. They love going every day, they love their teachers (past and current), they love the office staff (it's hugs all around in the front office on a daily basis), and they have made some great friends. Seeing their smiles when they get dropped off is a daily reminder that we have chosen the right place for our family.

My daughter started attending Allen / Action Day Primary Plus School when she was 2.5 years old. It was time for my wife and I to go back to work and we needed to find a safe environment for her to be in while we were apart. The program is perfect for a child her age. We feel very grateful and fortunate to have found ADPP. We would recommend them to anyone in need of an outstanding child care provider. The administration is extremely professional and my daughter loves her teachers. They treat her as if she was family. Thank you Allen / Action Day Primary Plus! We feel she is in good hands throughout the day.

This is a wonderful daycare & school!

We have two children who have been coming here since they were both 5 months old. We've experienced the infant center through the Junior Kindergarten schools at Action Day Allen and we love it all! We've been coming here almost 5 years now and will have our oldest attend Kindergarten here next year.

There is a rotating weekly theme for all age groups which keeps the kids entertained & educated throughout the day. There is a daily schedule for each age group which includes learning, play & outdoor time. There are special kids activities available based on age groups, activities such as Bike Day and both on-site and off-site field trips. They offer optional classes sports activities on-site for an additional fee and for us this has been wonderful since it takes place during Allen hours right on campus!

The office staff, caregivers and school staff here are all excellent -- I honestly can't say enough good things about them. They are attentive to our kids and understand how to handle all kinds of situations! The school is well maintained and they are serious about keeping the kids safe. There are family events held at the school which are a lot of fun (such as the Easter bunny brunch & Halloween festival).

We have been an Allen Action Day family for 8 1/2 years and have had a wonderful experience. The staff is amazing and both my children were more than ready for kindergarten when the time came. We have also been involved in the sports programs (t-ball and soccer) and the dance classes which are both great programs! The dance classes are during the day so no need to take away from family time in the evenings or weekends which is wonderful.

We have been part of the Action Day Primary Plus family for 7 years. My first son went there when he was 6 months old. From the first day, we felt comfortable with the teachers and the environment felt safe. Now we currently have our second son there (2 years old) and loves it. He is always happy and playing when I pick him up. He talks about his friends and teachers and what he did that day. The staff is familiar with all the kids and is familiar with who the parents are. I couldn't have selected a better place for my son to be while I'm at work!
