I've been wanting to get a balayage done for a while now, and that's when I chose Hair by Christy during my search.

Christy was quick to respond to my initial text, asking for current and desired hair photos, then setting up a phone consultation to understand my hair needs, agree upon the appointment date/time, budget range (which she followed through on), etc.

At the salon, Christy and Elena made me feel welcome and comfortable. Christy was honest when answering my question and concerns, funny and fun throughout my appointment, and I never felt rushed. Ultimately, I wanted hair that would fit my style and skin tone, require lower maintenance, and Christy did just that! She is an artist and a perfectionist who takes great pride in her work, loves what she does, and the results speak for themselves!

I just moved back to the Bay after living in LA for a couple years. I was hesitant to try someone new. I read the reviews for Christy's work and she went above and beyond! I'm so happy with my new hair, she did a custom color for me and believe me, look at the before, it had been wayy too long since I got my hair done. She cares so much about you and your hair health. Additionally, she has an assistant who is kind and attentive. They both create such a calming presence and experience. Christy is the real deal and well worth the money.

I was looking for a salon to get my hair done last minute for school and thank god I found Hue! The experience was something I'd never seen before! The inside is very clean and tidy and very cute. The staff are so kind to you and they let you know anything they're going to do to you. Elena and Emily were so kind and gentle with me and my hair, and Christy was so thorough with my haircut. It came out amazing !! Perfect to go back to school with!

Christy is on a journey to rescue my hair! I came in tired of my unruly, unmanageable hair, and Christy gave me honest direction on the status of my unhealthy hair. She gave me a beautiful haircut and a plan for bringing my hair back to life. Thanks Christy! I’m looking forward to the journey!

I came to Christy for my follow up visit for a protein hair treatment. WOW! My hair feels so soft and silky!! Such a change from the dry and straw-like hair I had. THANKS Christy and her assistant Elena!

I rarely leave reviews unless I am absolutely happy with the final product and that is exactly what I got after leaving Christy's salon! I went in my first time for a correction cut after a horrible cut at another salon. She made me feel very welcome and fixed my hair which I didn't think could be done. A few months later I go in for a routine cut and she made my hair look amazing! She is very knowledgeable and guides you through how to take care of your hair or style your hair as well which I think is really helpful. I tell her that I want long layers and face framing pieces and she understands and delivers! I am extremely happy with the cut and am looking forward to my next one from Christy!
