“Jamie is a miracle worker. After two months of work he managed to bring my 2008 Prius back from the dead. This involved replacing the hybrid battery, the ECM, fixing a ton of rat damage, and a whole list of other issues that I could go on and on about. He kept me updated on the costs the entire time and was always straightforward about the extent of his abilities. The final bill was a fraction of what it would have cost at other mechanics (especially at the dealership) and I’m so happy with his work. “I went some consultations with other doctors for removing wisdom teeth. Finally, I decide to choose dr Lim, the most important reason is she has a good price to remove 4 wisdom teeth with general anesthesia after using my dental insurance, also have good education experience and good reviews from other patients. I have to say I had a very good wisdom teeth removal experience here. Dr Lim did very well and she also called me after my surgery to make sure how is my feeling now. I took my 4 wisdom teeth together today with general anesthesia. I have so much worry and nervous about this surgery, since it is my first time to do a surgery that need come with general anesthesia. however, the experience is very good here. I didn’t know anything, just slept and had a dream during the surgery. Just following the pre surgery and post surgery instruction, so far I don’t feel any pain and any problem, Thank You so much dr Lim. Will highly recommend this doctor!!”

“Really accessible and affordable bathhouse. Mimi, Hana, Jung and other scrub ladies - they will entertain you and/or scrub your tush like the car wash you didn’t know you loved. Who you get matters. Some ladies are bossy to the point of extreme - so I can see how that might upset someone. I’ve been coming for years. Pro tip: Ask for Sera/Sara - she is great!!!!! Pro pro tip, when u ask is Sara there / available for a scrub u must also ensure that they actually book her for u. It’s not perfect inside, but it’s the only Korean bath house left in San Jose. It’s an affordable bath massage place and they added boba tea. There’s sauna, relax rooms, steam room, hot & cold baths, standing & seated showers, plus various massage/scrub/facial treatments. Get ok with nudity. And staff lack of eagerness to please. Kind of like a luxury hand bag store - they are sometimes rude cause they can be. Occasionally there are customers and staff who think talking on their phone or speaker phone in the quiet area is a-ok; hell no. You’ll have to say something/point to the no phones sign/get a staff. For those miffed about it being not lux looking inside - well, here’s the trade off: go pay 3-6x the price at spa or 2x plus drive 1 hr & pay for parking for SF Japan town bathhouse. Not like there’s a lot of bathhouses in Bay Area so enjoy what works.”

“Adam and his crew were great to work with. We recently bought a home which needed a new roof. Good community of people that gather here.”

“Poke Poke Fish Bar has a few options of base like rices or salad, a few options of protein like different kinds of fish, and tons of different toppings and dressings. They have a few tables inside and a couple outside, parking is usually available but it can be tough to get in from the main road, and the lines inside go quick as bowls are being made. Their portion sizes are good and prices are normal, but their fish is pretty good quality which is where it matters the most. The staff are friendly and quick.”
