“I've been doing Pilates classes with Kathy for several years, so I can say that the classes are very effective (my back problems are pretty much gone) and very enjoyable. "Enjoyable" is really important to me: that's why I keep going back every week! Kathy's got a way of making the class flexible (what instructors call "offering modifications") so that each exercise can work for the individual's own level or needs at the time. But in addition, the class size (usually 4-8 people) lets each person be part of a group that is working out together -- and that leads to a type of commitment to be there and check in with each other on everything from how you are feeling to what new restaurants or stores you want to recommend to each other! It really is fun to work out with Kathy and the others in the class!”

“My back has been hurting for some time due to poor ergonomics at work. And I also developed pain on my shoulder and wrist. So, on my first session Matthew explained how acupuncture works, went through step by step what he was going to do, and told me many different stretching exercises that would strengthen my back and arms. He talked to me while putting acupuncture needles, so it took me by surprise that he was already done needling! His needling was very gentle, so I barely felt it! And then he asked me if I still felt the pain. And it was like magic, the pain was so much reduced. He said that it was because now he took away the pain from the spots that were hurting me most. After acupuncture he continued with cupping and a gentle massage. By the end of the session, I felt my pain was about 80% gone. Three days later I had the second session. Now after the second session the pain on my wrist was completely gone, my shoulder I still felt a little when I'm using it in a bad angle. He said my back will take few more sessions because my back was the source of all the pain. After three more sessions I felt that I have no more pain so I stopped going to the clinic. It’s been two months and I still don’t feel any pain anywhere. I'm still in a shock how fast it worked! Matthew genuinely cared about my issue and had been very attentive throughout the sessions. I highly recommend him.”

“I have hand eczema 湿疹since November 2019. I visited my family doctor from Stanford University Hospital. My Doctor gave me Triamcinolone . I use this two months, blisters come and go. Then she changed to another more stronger medicine Tacrolimus Ointment. Same thing happened. And the side effects really bad. My hand feel burning and Inching, my blood pressure go up to 90-130, my normal is 75-105. At beginning September 2020 I find Dr Ruby, she use acupuncture for my eczema . Three weeks past , my hand situation are much better. Later I will update. I hope this can help more people who suffer from pain.”
