“A big THANKS for Dr. Schuman for helping my wife with her dental emergency when all of the oral surgeons closer to our home were on vacation for New Year's. My wife developed severe pain in a molar and visited a local dentist at 5pm on New Year's Eve, who determined that the tooth would have to be extracted by a skilled oral surgeon because of the proximity of the sinus canal. New Year's Day we spent all morning searching through the Cigna website and Googling and making more than 20 phone calls. Clinics that claimed to offer after-hour emergency services were all closed. And even the 1-800 help lines that specialize in locating emergency dental services were of no real use beyond sympathy.
