this is THE beach for sun worshipers. tan and tasty not white and pasty.
Beware: Nudist beach; but beautiful and secluded with gorgeous views!
Loved to roll down the sand as a kid. :)
Off the beaten path, this place is worth the extra drive to get there if you're looking for a beach that's not as busy as the beaches closer to Santa Cruz. There are paved parking spots rather than a dirt turnout or a narrow shoulder off the side of the road to park on. There are some neat rock formations and the beach is closed in by cliffs on both sides. There is somewhat of a steep descent to access the beach and therefore a climb to get out. But unless you have a broken leg or issues walking, it's pretty simple to get down there and back.
B E A UTIFUL beach! Secluded, super quiet, very relaxing....but beware. There is apparently a clothing optional portion on the northern end of the beach.
