“This is one of the most solid jobs I've ever had. The pay might be "low" monetarily, but the education provided is stellar, the leadership fair, and the tasks are designed to help you branch out with other state departments, so you can better decide what a full career might interest you. Giving back to the community, from environmental clean up to volunteering at events builds a team building skill not shown in most workplaces through California. All that is needed is the desire to better yourself, and the will to pay attention to what is being taught.
