The Farmhouse

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in months!! Truly incredible pepper (and sage?) flecked biscuits, rich and flavorful gravy, and the Benedict was also incredible. Don’t be deceived by the humble bar vibe, the food is off the chain. I’m a New Yorker and a foodie, and this place rocked my world. Way better than anything I had in Reno.

A wonderful suggestion made by a friendly neighbor in Sattley while we were staying in the Sierra Villa area. The ribs were tasty and the service was fantastic. They only do dinner on Monday nights, but I am sure their breakfast at lunch on the other days are just as good as their dinner was. While the menu is very limited, only a few options each night, the food is very tasty. We enjoyed the smoked sausages and smoked ribs along with some salads and libations. We would visit again

This was a find on my trip to the Sierra Hot Springs. Across the street from the Globe Hotel, this is one of three resturants "in town." Had breakfast and lunch here. The food is off the chain!

The owner/chef is a BBQ champion and it shows. The bacon, sausage and tritip were some of the best I've eaten. The sides were well-seasons. The desserts are also really tasty.

Staff are super sweet and happy to give pointers about great places to visit in the area.

They only do dinners on Mondays. We will definitely be making it up for a Monday night treat soon.

Stopped in today for some lunch. I am a bit spoiled when it comes to BBQ, especially pulled pork. Well this place is hands down one of the best places to get a pulled pork sandwich. The people are so nice. The atmosphere is great. We will definitely be back. Oh and their friends were on point! See you soon

ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN DELICIOUS. I had a sandwich and my friend had the peanut butter burger. Seriously good food. I heard a rumor that the Monday night dinners are Amazing. Talk of the town good. It's a must try when Traveling through the most beautiful valley in all the sierras and arguably the most gorgeous valleys in all of California on most spring and fall days.
