(December 31, 2022, 10:49 am)There may be competitive prices elsewhere but I decided to take advantage of their 80% off sale. I recommend to do your due-diligence and research prior to framing to ensure you know exactly what you want for your art or documents. All their custom frames include UV protection glass or acrylic (I went for the light-weight acrylic) . I requested to use a non-adhesive method of hinging. Any adhesives (tape/glueing) even if acid-free should be avoided for proper conservation of antique documents. Due to the original folds, the maps will not lay completely flat which I expected using this method, but this is perfectly fine to me as long as the maps do not touch the acrylic.
