“Efficient, easy, and knowledgeable! I was referred to Victor's shop from O'Reilly Auto Parts in Suisun and I was pleased with the referral. Victor answered my call right away and was able to see my car the next day. I was initially told from O'Reilly that I needed a part replaced, but when Victor looked at the car he noticed that all it needed was an oil change, and explained to me why - which I appreciated. He told me it would take 20 minutes to change the oil. I'd left to go get a coffee at a nearby café and the car was ready and waiting upon my return. So far, the car is running smoother -- will update if anything changes. Thanks Victor!”

“I finally gota chance to take a car here. Word of mouth in town was highly recommended for brakes when I needed something on another vehicle two years ago. I was able to get priceless information over the phone. Last week I needed an urgent diagnostic test done on "my baby" so I was able to take a vehicle in to them. I had bad timing because they were short staffed when I got it towed there early on a Friday and I assumed they were open Saturday without confirming. I got a call from Ryan himself on Monday with detailed diagnostic and full explanation of what was going on and his professional opinion of what he thought was going on and what to do next. Only charged me for diagnosis even though it was a little more than that. Great place and I'm so glad I went here. Honest shop. Didn't treat me like a girl that doesn't know what they are talking about. Definitely see why they have such an amazing reputation. Don't see why the review score is low. Everyone always wants perfection at hella low cost. I didn't have expensive work done but if that was the case I definitely wouldn't mind them being pricier because they would be worth the professionalism, knowledge, courtesy, and small town feel that they give. “I highly recommend Salinas Auto Care (SAC) for all of your automotive needs! Why? For starters, this is the only place I could find between Sacramento and San Francisco that would even take on this project. Other places I contacted where extremely rude and condescending… and would not even consider working on my car. I acquired a 1972 Toyota Corolla that I want to restore. The vehicle had been sitting in a garage for about 15 years. I found it covered with boxes and the interior was filled with plastic bags filled with who knows what. To make a long story short the vehicle had countless mechanical issues; additionally, the entire floor was rotted. SAC was able to troubleshoot and diagnose my problems, helped me source parts, and ultimately got the car running new it was brand new. They were even able to replace the rusted floor-pans with new sheet metal. Communication among all employees I came in contact with was very friendly. Everyone is courteous and feedback is thorough. Timeliness of work was exceptional! Labor rates are fair, I’d say on par with any reputable automotive shop. I don’t believe anyone around can compete with the value for the workmanship and customer service you can expect from Salinas Auto Care.”
