Joy of Eating Café

Everything was perfect, from the crispy bacon in the omelettes to the homemade sausage gravy! But all the raves about the toast/bread are legit. It tastes like senorita bread, only thick sliced like Texas toast. They even sent us home with an entire loaf, and we've already planned all the ways to enjoy it! We can't wait to come back!

I’ve been eating here since I was a child. 😊 they haven’t changed a bit! I used to eat at the Vallejo location with my parents after church. Cozy American atmosphere. The clattering of plates and chatter amongst happy locals is somewhat soothing. Always friendly staff.

Wonderful breakfast here in Joy Of Eating!
I think we've found our go to "hole in the wall" that we've been looking for. Martha is the sweetest waitperson ever! She was very attentive. We will come back here for sure.
