“I’ve happily been a customer at this Walgreens (pharmacy) for several years now. The staff are always very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The one star I’ve removed is for my recent online purchase for 1-2 day delivery for a very important medication that I needed for a bad infection. I was too sick to pick it up. I paid online on Friday and received the confirmation that said my medication would arrive in 1-2 business days. The pharmacy is open on the weekends, but even if FedEx wasn’t open Sunday or Memorial Day (not sure), it should’ve been delivered by Tuesday at the latest. I didn’t receive this very important medication until Thursday, nearly a week after I paid online. When I called FedEx to complain and ask about the delay, I was told that Walgreens had just given it to them Tuesday. My thing is this: this medication was for a serious bacterial infection that I was too sick to drive over and get. Had I known it would be almost a week before I could get it in my system, my son would’ve walked across town and picked it up. Secondly, I spoke to a FedEx driver who informed me that there is no cooler section in their trucks and that if it was supposed to stay cool, the pharmacy should have packed it with ice. And he added that it gets “extremely hot back there”. That medication was not to be in hot temperatures. Period. And it sat in a HOT FedEx truck for days. 2, at least. If we aren’t actually guaranteed to receive our medication within “1-2 business days” as promised, don’t promise or offer that service. I recently recovered from sepsis a couple months back, thankfully. I don’t need it again. That’s not a risk I would willingly take. This was not the first time my medications didn’t arrive within 1-2 business days. This was simply the most important medication and the last time I use this “service”. I’ve now been on the medication for a week and it’s not working. Is it because it sat in the heat all that time? I guess I’ll never know. Symptoms should improve after 3 days on Vancomycin, per my doctor. After day 10, I’ll have to try an even stronger medication. This time it’ll be picked up in person. Never again through the “free delivery service”. The pharmacy itself, overall, is still better than Walmart, Raleys, Target and CVS, in my opinion.”

“All employees are so friendly and helpful. I've been using this pharmacy spot years before they became CVS and I had doubts when they changed to CVS, if the family friendly atmosphere would change. No change, helpful and friendly continues. There pharmacist, Millie has been there many years and is friendly, knowledgeable and always ready and willing to do whatever it takes to help and solve any problem that might arise. If looking for a good pharmacy, this is the one, you won't be disappointed!”
