Good campground with water and electrical hook ups at many sites. Bathrooms and showers situated throughout the park. Most sites were relatively level or rigs could get level easily. Site by the water have a additional charge. Park has two dump stations which will not be included in camping fee in the near future, so additional cost for dumping . Campground is open year round so can do some winter camping without the worry of snow. Hwy 128 is close which is very popular with motorcycle riders. This could be annoying if you let it. The town of Winters is close by if need supplies, want to eat out or explore. Very pleasant wintertime camping experience.
Very pretty little park. Great birding spot. Easy to see the otherwise uncommon Phainopepla. Tons of water birds. Nice easy walk along the lake.
Honestly it’s a very peaceful place, very light hike, and very family-friendly. Oh and it’s also wheelchair accessible.
Love this little park! It's a great place to stop while on a bike ride for a little rest, refresh your water, and use the facilities. Restrooms are usually reasonably clean, although it seems that not all guests are always polite. Park staff I have encountered there over the years have been friendly.
We rented the park space A. It's decent enough to be able to host 100 people. Wish the grass was more filled out but its still nice. The rangers are sticklers for rules but, that's them making sure our tax dollars spent properly by doing their jobs. Can't say anything bad about that. Beautiful park.
