“This place is a real find. If you crave silence and sense that it would be very supportive for your healing and meditation practice, this is a place where everyone really respects that. I so appreciated how the other guests stayed out of each other's space so that each person got the quiet he or she was seeking. I painted, drew , read, walked, swam, meditated, ate quiet healthy meals and slept like a baby. It was a very supported solitude. Brenda , Ruth and Bruce have paid attention to all the little details that made it so lovely. I am so grateful for the experience and cannot wait to return.”

There's quite a lot of open land that are perfect to host gatherings/events on, unlike many other neighboring lakes/beaches that are more heavily populated with trees & bushes & unleveled terrain while condensing people to smaller tight designated areas. This one is pretty open and its layout is a lot like a mini version of Bodega Bay minus the gigantic rocks & slopes & different nature of residence(river-lake vs bay/coastal)”

“I love the mountain walk. It is so beautiful in the green of spring... mama cows with their calves share your landscape. Amazing old oak trees. Wild flowers. I love that vacaville sets aside these areas and you can walk/ hike there. Is not for the tender, injured... walks can be very hilly and the terrain challenging with winter hardened mud holes. Careful hikers will totally enjoy. The views are great. Makes me feel I've gotten away from it all and it's great to be alive :)”
