“Great camping with lots of amenities. 4th of July weekend was PACKED yet staff was still very quick and helpful. Campsites are decent size (ours was 30x30), and facilities are well maintained. General store has most everything you might need that you inevitably forget, at only a bit of a markup (Edited for typo)”

“Visited here 5 May, 2019. This is the same location as the now defunct Mr. Trombly’s Tea Shop. Under new management. They still have a huge selection of loose leaf tea from all over the world. The new owners are super nice too. Stop by to replenish your Tea stock.”

“This is a must stop if you are in the area. I call all of her items my favorite things. I gave her items out to my employees and family for Christmas and they truly enjoy them. I look forward to many more visits. All of her items are made with love and it shows. ????????”

“I was here in 1997 with some friends and I still talk about the trip to this day. We hiked all the way to the ocean. It was an amazing hike(beware of stinging nettles) lots of fruit along the way during season. Mussels all over the rocks and at low tide it was easy to pick 5lbs worth to carry back for dinner. I will be back again.”

“Great place to grab some supplies for your road trip to the beach. Tons of beers to pick from and in house smoked meats. Sandwiches, chips and other things you may need including dog food as we found out because we forgot to pack some for our impromptu camping trip.”

“Organic coffee that is roasted on site was truly a delight. The pastries are baked fresh daily and smell as scrumptious as they taste. The people working there were super pleasant and willing to accommodate any and all requests. Great energy and vibes were the overall feeling of this place. Will definitely return as soon as possible. Oh, and they had cute cats on the patio outside where you sit and enjoy your food and coffee, fantastic experience.”

“It's that time of year when the heron does live music on there outdoor stage. A crowd of 40-60 show up for food and libations. Some dance. Some just want to listen. All enjoy the weather. When it's 90+ and you want to melt, just head towards the Beach. Duncan's Mills is close enough to smell the salt in the air. 15 degrees cooler than Santa Rosa with a sea breeze. I love the west coast and I have been blessed to be close to the ocean. Come see for yourself why. You will love it too. Along with a pint of local brew I enjoyed the fish and chips and a side salad. It's reasonably priced decent service and I will go back. It's a fun place to be.”

“Got out of SF for a few days and decided to come check out this newer campground addition to the Russian River. First, from all sides there are some beautiful views here. We met the ranger that patrolled the site and he was friendly and informative about the area, and enthusiastic to share his outdoors knowledge with us. The campgrounds themselves are classic fare with a fire pit and picnic table located at each one. The campgrounds are made to fit ~2 2-person tents and have space to set out a kayak. The grounds are right along the river and very accessible during high-tide, and sometimes you might run across mosquitoes if the river is at its lower points. I felt very safe staying here and we enjoyed access to the river both out to the ocean side, and down stream. Stop by for some fun!”

“Really nice trail. It connects the beach and Highway 1 to the campground, and makes for a really good day hike. The upper trail goes to the top of the hill and has great views of the ocean, while the lower trail is shaded by redwoods and has great views of the Russian River. The upper trail is overgrown by grass in some sections, so watch out for ticks.”

“We went on a weekday and saw more animals than people. It was almost completely quiet, just an occasional bird singing and a little rustle of the wind through the trees. Only word of caution is to look out for the poison oak.”
