“Beautiful location to walk in nature and stroll or jog on your choice of paved or gravel surfaces. Lots of choices of paths wind throughout the estuary, along the Petaluma River and among brackish ponds. It is a much needed sanctuary for thousands of birds of a huge variety year round. My favorite time to go is in the Spring when all the babies are out with their mothers. There are three sort of distinct sections in the park, so you can choose one or travel through all three. It's also a great place for bicycle riding and bird watching is a must. Lots of spots to stop for a snack or lunch. There are public restrooms at a couple locations, as well as a few different parking lots. Parking is free. It's open Dawn to dusk. There are waste bins, picnic tables and resting benches conveniently located throughout as well. Bringing binoculars and or a camera is worth the effort. One caution, there is no cover anywhere from sun or rain or wind, so go prepared in extreme weather.”

“A seriously amazing school with dedicated staff and faculty as well as parent volunteers. Tk-6 grade, must be entered into a lottery drawing to be admitted. I was lucky my daughter got in, we haven't regretted it since!”

“8/2/15 This garage is in the back of Ernie's Tin Bar on Hwy 116 (Lakeville Hwy) in Petaluma. The garage and bar are connected and you can see into the garage while you sit an enjoy a cold beer at the bar. It's really friendly and welcoming and a great spot to stop and check out if youre driving by!”

“This is a beautiful piece of land located on the edge of town with easy access. The terrain is hilly, wooded, and well managed. There is one trail through the park which is paved, easy for wheels. The remaining trails are unpaved and varying in degrees of smooth and uneven surfaces. This is not the park for someone who wants a nice flat stroll, but if you're looking for a little inclined exercise, it's the perfect spot. Lots of green most times of the year, many tree varieties, grasses, shrubbery growing wild. Beautiful vistas with sitting benches throughout the park to relax and take in gorgeous views looking down on Petaluma or out over surrounding hillsides. There are also picnic tables in a few places, so it's a very nice spot to have a lunch in nature. There is even a small pond at the top of the first hill, which adds to the quaintness of this piece of land. At the main entrance there is a parking lot. A fee of $7, as it's a county park. There is also an separate equine parking area for trailers with horses. A convenient located restroom starts the base of the trails and a children's playground area. For those who take issue with paying for a walk, you can park out on the road and walk in or go the the back side of the park and walk in through the neighborhood entrance. The only con I'd note is that the trails are not well marked and the posted land map doesn't do you much good when you aren't standing in front of it. That said, the trails all pretty much end up coming back to the main one and it's a fairly small park, so you can only get so lost. All in all, a very convenient, clean and beautiful hour walk in nature ????”

“Our son has been attending this school since right after it started in 2013 (opened Sept 2012). It is such a warm, nurturing environment, enriched with art, craft infused with a keen appreciation of the natural world. It has enhanced his curiosity in so many ways! When he moved on to kindergarten last summer, we were all too sad too leave, so we decided to treat him to afternoons at Arts in the Garden. This has added a gentle cushion to the often difficult transition into Elementary school, as he continues to enjoy the comfort of his favorite teachers, friends and sweet environment that we all cherish so much. (There is a license for a few school age children each day.) Do your child an absolute favor and visit Arts In The Garden!”
