“I came to Dr. Pride to get a second opinion about a procedure and was really impressed how he respected my interpretations about my situation (I've got a doctorate in genetics so I know a bit about biology), suggested a novel pain treatment, and listened to my desires about how to best proceed. He was puzzled by the same things I was and I was gratified to have him admit it and not just have it sloughed off as inconsequential.
