This is an excellent addition to the Marriott portfolio. Bill, the Front Desk Manager, was gracious and welcoming from the first moment at check in. The staff was great and the really nice condition for not having a *refresh* in five years is amazing. Well done - I'll definitely return to this property!
I am a Marriott member and was going to Lexington for vacation. Of course everything in Lexington was booked for the weekend so Marriott directed me to this location. Overall, it was a good experience. This hotel is very easy to find just off of I75 with easy access to everything around the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful for any issues that might arise. The room itself was not bad. The shower was slightly dirty on the walls and could use some touching up. The bed was not the most comfortable as it was a little hard. Overall, the rooms were good and I have no complaints for this location. If I was in town again, I would stay here. The indoor pool was nice and heated and there is a little gym if you want to stay active. There are a lot of food options around and about 20 miles from downtown Lexington.
I had an absolutely amazing experience here. Shelley and all the great people working at the front desk are willing to help out with anything you need! My next compliment goes to the housekeeping staff. Absolutely wonderful group of women I would leave notes about not doing the dishes and they would still do them anyway and my room is always super clean and ready for me to go to bed the next night I got home from a long day at work!! Just a friendly reminder to everybody this is a hotel so be mindful that the TVs are a little weird to operate. And what I mean by that is the remotes run a little slow when pushing buttons you just have to be patient it will eventually do what she wanted to do. Breakfast was very well every morning from 6 to 9 on weekdays and 7 to 10 on weekends a recommendation if you are staying long-term you might want to pick up some breakfast items as it tends to be fried eggs and sausage or sausage and cheese omelettes. And then they have the continental breakfast as well which is well staffed and never out of anything !!!!! (Again breakfast was fine had I not been a long-term guest.)Keep up the good work! I would definitely tell my company to book me here and I would even stay here on personal travel as well.
We stopped at TownPlace Suites in Richmond KY to and from visiting Michigan from Atlanta.
The first unit was a two bedroom and it was good for a family of 3. It has all necessary equipment to make meals in the room, and I especially enjoyed having a toaster along with a freezer. Beds were extremely comfortable. However, the furniture was pretty scuffed up and some of the doors were pretty dirty. I cleaned them myself with paper towels and wipes.
The way back to Atlanta we stopped again and stayed in two different rooms on the same floor. This option was slightly more expensive but worth it for the extra bathroom. Again the rooms are very nice but could use a deep cleaning. Beds were very comfortable and we had all appliances you'd expect in a small apartment.
There's a grocery store right down the street and many restaurants.
