“From the outside, this place looks like every other convenience/liquor store in the San Joaquin Valley. But once inside, and once you talk to the staff, you soon realize that this is a diamond in the rough. A surprising amount of merchandise is on hand, most of it standard convenience/liquor store fare, like cigarettes, liquor, chips, candy, lottery tickets, etc, but look a bit further and you'll also find t-shirts, more expensive bottles of alcohol, and of course, the most reliable Western Union service in all of Riverbank. And the staff is super-duper friendly! Sounds odd, but whenever I'm in Riverbank, I ALWAYS make it a point to stop in and say hi to the staff of Star Market.”

“Every time I go there it is a very pleasant experience.... not only am I greeted with a smile but they seem to generally care.. . about the service they provide the quality of their products... to ensure that their customers leave satisfied very friendly and comfortable atmosphere if they have time they also will let you know to have a good day when you leave and make you feel like you where's the most important customer they have and a very safe and secure clean store to shop at and will try their best to make sure that your needs are met with the quickest service they can offer now this is the sort I pretty much go to because the prices are low but their quality is high I think they do a wonderful job and I'm glad I live nearby”
