I was very impressed with the owner and what he did for me. I had already been to two other jewelry places here in Turlock and had been very disappointed in what they said. I had two pieces of jewelry that I asked about repairs, and I was hoping to get it done before leaving on a cruise at the end of the next week, so about 7-8 days. The quotes I got were astounding! The claimed work that would be needed, parts to replace and order, time needed was going to be at least a month to get finished and cost more than $760! I went to Mr. Martinez and I'm so happy I did. He looked at both pieces of jewelry, a set of diamond earrings and a necklace with a loose stone. After examination, he said he could have both repairs done by Tuesday of the next week, AND, the cost was only $43.00!!! I was astounded and relieved that he could do this. Then came the biggest surprise of all!! Suddenly he said, if you have a few minutes to wait, I'll do it all for you right now. I spent approximately 30 minutes in his shop and am very happy with the quality and care of my jewelry. Needles to say, I know that what he did for me is not the usual, but I so appreciate his thoughtfulness. I told him to bump the payment to $50. It was well deserved!! I'll definitely be returning to him for other repairs that are needed.
