“If you are looking for a church family that is Christ-centered, biblically faithful, loving, and that is committed to reaching Turlock with the gospel then this is a congregation you ought to consider. The pastor is committed to the truth of God's Word, but also very committed to loving our neighbors. The motto at BABC is "Faith Family, and Love" the focus is on lifting up Jesus so that He will draw people to Himself. Our family has been here for over two years now, and we have seen the church becoming healthier and more focused. God is on the move, and I feel that this church family is ready to join Him in what He is already doing in Turlock. I am very excited to see new ministry ventures starting soon, including a college ministry. Other ministries where you can grow and serve include children's church, Sunday School for adults and students, a Wednesday night Bible study for both adults and students, a ministry to our senior saints, and an opportunity to serve every month at the Turlock Gospel Mission. One more thing that I absolutely love about Berkeley Avenue Baptist Church is that the pastor and his wife are very welcoming to families with kids that have special needs. This means the world to us, as we have a son who has some special needs. This is a great church family to join with for all of these reasons, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a congregation to call home.”

“This Church of Christ has been around for many years, and the members will make you feel like family. If you need a friend, prayer, or just someone to listen, there is someone there for everyone. They offer children’s classes for ages 0-17, and adult classes for all others. There is a ladies class that also meets regularly. The church hosts events such as a hot dog lunch during the summer, fun in the sun day, fall festival, progressive dinner and a sweethearts dinner. The church also offers a smaller more intimate setting with their life group families, where you can get to know people better.”

“This is the church my husband and I first went to that we felt welcomed and comfortable. They've made a lot of changes. A whole new church. Spacious and beautiful. I love the outdoor events they put on. I just went to the outdoor market they had a couple weeks ago. Before that, we'd gone to the opening of their new building. They had lots of fun activities for the children. Bounce house and water summertime fun. Booths with plenty of variety of food. It was a fun time all around.”

“Pastor Chris has a gift for putting the Bible and it's historical figures into understandable and relatable context as well as really digging into what was really happening all those years ago, tying it all back how it applies to us today. This church has an amazing sense of community and engagement. Don't forget the great fair trade coffee!”

“I love this small church. Very country feeling. Pastor Dave is awesome! I love the music, and every week i get something tangible i can take into the world. Good messages. Taught from the word reinforced with life experience. Non-denominational church that focuses on the good news of the gospel. Its all about Jesus. It always has been.”

“My wife is a member of this parish while I was a member of another parish. When we were contemplating which parish to get married we were met at All Saints with very understanding staff and civilian volunteers that were very knowledgeable about navigating the rules for a Catholic marriage having been married before. We highly recommend Fr. Tom and his wonderful staff! Enjoy these drone shots and video.....”

“there's so much to say about this wonderful place. I know there are a lot of people who talk highly of their own churches, but this one by far has been my most favorite. The pastor is amazing and his teachings both incorporate the past with a bit of the now so that it's a bit more understandable. Hope that makes sense. The staff and the families are all very welcoming. my children also attend the tutoring program on Wednesdays and it's ran by two very kind women. if you're looking around or if you happen to have a free Sunday, I would strongly suggest stopping by and taking one hour out of your day to listen to this pastor Craig.”

“There are two church buildings located on this property, one is the Turlock Stake Center on the north, and the second is called the South building. The Turlock 1st ward meets in the South building from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. each Sunday beginning with a Sacrament Meeting. Following the Sacrament meeting from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. is either Sunday School or Relief Society. The Spanish Branch also meets in this building each Sunday beginning at 10:30 in the chapel each Sunday. In the Stake Center, you’ll find Turlock 2nd ward meeting at 9:00 in the chapel. The Stake center and south building each have an indoor basketball court and large area used for church functions and wedding receptions. Each building also includes a large chapel where services are held.”
