(August 10, 2021, 10:16 pm)You got to stop and visit this beautiful historical museum. I found pictues of my parents in the year books. Just listening to the docents talking about the history of the building in 1938. The orginal wooden floors have been restored and looks gorgeous. The lighted didplay cases encasing the ribbons from the grange hall men to the wedding dresses from the young women that lived in Waterford. I will stop back in. Theres so much more to see

(June 23, 2019, 6:47 pm)If you're interested in the history of the central valley or the start of the agriculture boom of the late 19th century, come visit our local museum! This old Grange lodge has lots of unique turn of the century antiques, original maps of the old Waterford Irrigation District, pictures, clothing, housewares, old schoolhouse items, items from our major war conflicts going back to even the civil war era, and the docents here are very knowledgeable and friendly. However, the museum is undergoing renovations, so it's not open yet to the public as the websites suggest. I was able to text the owners and met up with them and got a very thorough private tour. There is no fee to enter, but donations are highly encouraged in order to keep this wealth of knowledge and history accessible for all generations. They are in need of volunteers as well, and I am excited to say that me and my children will be volunteering our time to help. They do movie nights in the ICE COLD basement on HOT summer days geared toward children and families and provide snacks and drinks for s small fee. Come support your local museum!!
