I have been taking classes with guru for a few months now and I have literally never felt more skilled and understood as a student. Not only does he teach with excitement and love he allows you to learn and play for yourself. Sensai Rene reminds us that martial arts is a powerful tool for self defense but that it is possible to enjoy the process of learning and thoroughly delight in becoming the bad beast you already are.

My sons and I have been training with Guro Renee for a year and the experience has been amazing. Guro is very hands on with each student and his knowledge of the martial arts is top notch. If you want to learn Mixed Martial Arts, then training with Guro Renee is the right choice.

Guru Rene (Owner/Instructor) is an amazing man, he is so knowledgeable. He is so good with all of the children and adults that attend his academy, I think of him as a gentle giant. So kind/respectful but firm and everyone respects him.

He takes the time to get to know every single student and they all love him like family!!

His academy offers so much more then any other gym that I have been to...
