Runkle Canyon Park

This park is very nice, quiet, relaxing and has a great view too. There is a nice playground for kids, water fountains and restrooms.

Well I've hiked back in these hills since I was about 9 or 10 we didn't have computers back then, just our legs & a bike if you were lucky enough to have your dad help you put together one ( as mine did ) got it for my 7th birthday & Simi valley in the 60's as a boy was Heven . Runkel's ranch was lots of snakes, lizard's frogs, horney toads, Pollywog's, falcons,barn owl ,halks, & no cops , what more could you ask for. There are nice areas to walk or bike, play grounds, volleyball, 1 drinking fountain NO BATHROOMS something very needed, not a good place for small dogs or even large dogs lots of cyoatees & lots of mosquito. Nats, ticks, but Plenty of rocks to collect.

Nice park beautiful scenery. Nice trails cool new playground but small needs to be bigger
