Ikeda's Markets

Really cute local farmers market carrying a variety of delicious jams and incredible, fresh fruit pies! Slightly tart on the marionberry pie but paired well with vanilla ice cream. Will def be back!

This place is awesome. I always stop here for something when I pass through Davis. This is a great family-owned business and a Sacramento-area institution. The tamales are really, really good. But then again, so are the homemade pies and fresh local fruit and vegetables. If you trek up to Tahoe, you probably already know about Ikeda's because of their original location in Auburn. But regardless of which way you're headed on 80, you should make sure to stop by and stock up.
