“I’d highly recommend her for those struggling with psychological and emotional trauma. Her fees are reasonable ($75/session) and she’s very gentle when putting in the needles. She genuinely cares about her clients’ well-being and is an extraordinarily good listener. I was born and raised in China, so I never doubted that acupuncture could treat and cure minor illnesses and major diseases alike. Acupuncture is definitely not placebo effect. I’ve witnessed how acupuncture CURED some diseases that my parents had. But I never expected that some needles could help me with emotional trauma. Surprisingly, Johanna acupuncture treatment has significantly helped me recovering from emotional trauma! After about a month and a half of acupuncture, I rarely have flashbacks like I did before. I stopped because the pandemic has made me extremely depressed and it’s difficult to keep up with my acupuncture appointments when I’m depressed. (But please keep in mind that I came in for acupuncture five days a week. My family and I believe that if one is to receive acupuncture as a form of treatment, one must make a commitment to doing it every day. This is how acupuncturists and patients go about treatment in China xD) I hope my review helps clarify some of the myths surrounding acupuncture!”

“An absolutely excellent gym. The community is caring, respectful, and positive. A few of us went to see a comedy show together in Sacramento, highlighting the coolness of the wonderful people in the community. The gym takes its style directly from Brazil, and I cannot speak highly enough of Michael's passion and obsession for the sport. He has been constantly upgrading the gym, which made it well worth the time and money. Lots of life lessons were, and will be, learned in this gym.”

“Extremely kind I was referred to Dr. Similtina from an Orthopedic Dr. For my symptoms. I found him and his staff to be Extremely kind and attentive, I get a bit of white coat sydrome and all of them made me feel so at ease. Having a long list of long standing symptoms can be overwhelming it's so refreshing to see a Dr. and their staff that hear you and make you feel like you have a voice and show they care.
