La Plazita Taqueria

My husband and I were passing by on a road trip and ordered a quick meal. The service was fast and the staff are very warm and welcoming. I loved the vibe inside and the food was AMAZING!!! We're so glad we stopped inside!! What a hidden gem!

This was like stepping into a bubble of another country. The chips were in Spanish at the gas station next door, the TV was playing a Spanish soap opera. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. She was able to speak English fine but was clearly more comfortable conversing in Spanish. The inside of the taqueria was dark and cool from the outside bright, hot heat. The entire restaurant was decorated in dollar bills. Very unique. The food was good, quick and very reasonably priced. I look forward to passing through town again.

I ordered the wet burrito with Chile Verde sauce on top and chips/pico on the side. The food was delicious and service was friendly.

Food is always great. Can't go wrong when you catch their $1 chicken tacos. The shredded beef enchiladas are tasty.
