Go the extra half mile to get here, and pass the other taco place when getting off the freeway!
I've tried all the other Mexican restaurants in the area since moving to W. SAC last year. This is by far the best on the south side.
Beans were creamy, rice was moist. Carnitas was really good, Pollo was good, also.
The salsa bar had all my favorites, and the chips were fresh and SALTED! No issues with service. The dining room is clean, place isn't overly decorated, lots of space between tables.

Place was clean and inviting. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the rice and bean combo with 3 birria tacos no onions and a side of guacamole. Jamaican Hibiscus to drink. My tacos came out within ten min and when I tell you they were delicious!!!! The shell was crunchy the meat was tender and juicy and they had just the right amount of cheese. No need for consume sauce unless you just want them soak but there was enough juice and flavor for me.

This is my second time getting the birria tacos and consume. The tacos don’t need the consume but I love the added flavor. These tacos are so flavorful and filling. One of my favorite places in Sacramento for birria.
