There are days when I struggle with my flesh to get-up-and-go to church. Whether it be a Sunday morning, a Women of Joy Bible study, or Wednesday evening/connection group. But I always, and I mean always, find that when I choose to tell my flesh ain't gonna happen and I go; I'm blessed. Beyond measure.

When JC (our current pastor's father) passed away, I wasn't quite sure of how well this younger generation was going to do in taking up the leadership of Joy. I know I'm dating myself a little bit there. LOL But they stepped up, especially Brandon and Felicia - pastor and pastor's wife. They have done an amazing job of submitting themselves to our Lord Jesus Christ. AND It Is Evident.

I have grown every time I have walked into Joy Church because of their ministry and their submission to God.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bragging on a human being, I am praising and worshiping the God who has affected so many people because of these two human beings who have chosen to submit themselves to the creator of Heaven and Earth.

They display an example of balance. Balance of life, family, church, but most importantly their individual relationships with God/Jesus.

Love this church! Move to west Sacramento about three years. Didn't know anyone and wanted to know my community. So this church was local and when I came I was so welcome. My husband and I been coming here for over a year and people at this church know your name and help you in this life journey!

Absolutely love this place. Everyone that attends is such pleasure to meet. The Pastor is great, very knowledgeable and only speaks from the word so you know your getting the truth. The worship is awesome too. Be prepared though these people love to welcome everyone with a warm smile and hugs.

Joy saved my life, I was sick for a long time and with the amazing pastor JC and the truth being taught I was saved and healed!! I can't express enough love for Joy! I am so happy my family is here and now I get to raise my daughter here!!
