(December 20, 2019, 12:59 pm)I live in another town, but visit Pioneer Church frequently. I love my visits here! It’s a small, friendly, active community of believers, whose members always welcome me and are interested in how I’m doing. They are delightful people who generously use their gifts and abilities to support the community.
Bruce Chapman, the pastor, preaches great sermons: he’s enjoyable to listen to, solidly biblical, and Christ-centered. He is also a good musician who uses traditional hymns and contemporary songs, which he accompanies on the guitar, along with other musicians. I highly recommend this church!
(December 18, 2019, 8:08 pm)I recently moved to Winters and my wife and I decided to check out this small church. What struck me most was how kind and friendly (but not pushy) everyone was. I felt very welcomed. The service was informal, laid back with little pretense. The pastor was excellent and I felt very comfortable during the service. My impression is that they are a growing community church and are very happy to see visitors. I will be returning.
(December 16, 2019, 4:10 pm)This church is full of loving compassionate people and pastor Bruce Chapman preaches an uplifting gospel message with hope glad tidings for all! We sing traditional hymns and have great fellowship before and after the services. I am truly blessed by this church!❤
