“Had a great experience living at Anderson Place Apartments. The location is very convenient since it it only a 5 minute walk away from the grocery store and has many restaurants near by to choose from if there's no time to cook. The environment and facilities are clean and the many trees and vegetation around the complex give it a peaceful, relaxing vibe. Most importantly, the staff are very kind and responsive. They are accommodating and will work with you to resolve any questions or concerns you may have. Would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone who is looking for a place to live.”

“The first truly contributes to a well-rounded education. The academics are certainly great, but I've learned far more from my peers and their experiences than I have from the classroom. Davis has done a great job of managing to create cohorts that are both diverse (from educational background, to life experience, to race & gender) and cohesive. The second definitely is the Sacramento & Bay location. While the school is often overlooked by close neighbors Stanford & UC Berkeley, Davis certainly has an "in" with Bay Area companies. The Sacramento location also benefits from being located at the UCD Medical Center (healthcare) and Sacramento (government) in general. We get the perks of being relatively close to the Bay but also the perks of being located directly in the State Capital.”

“I recently visited this Dollar Tree to get a few miscellaneous things on my way to Davis. While there I ended up passing out on the floor of an aisle. All the employees there were super helpful and very kind. They were quick to help and to make sure I was okay, the manager even sat in the back with me until someone came to pick me up. Overall they were able to take an extremely traumatic and humiliating experience and help me to feel safe and cared for.”

Part of the Davis Swim and Fitness family so with a complete membership you have access to all the classes (CrossFit, yoga, powerlifting, strongman, etc.), the basketball court, swimming pool and the indoor gym. Cal.) for 25+ years, so I expected it to be hard to find a new one I'd like as much. But I did. She is outstanding, as is her staff. “Our dog was attacked and bitten on her front leg by another dog this Sunday afternoon of President's Day weekend. We were at Lake County State Park, more than an hour-and-a-half from any emergency veterinary clinic. After calling around and talking to multiple facilities, our options seemed to be having to drive either to Sacramento or UC Davis and registering at a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic, after which the wait was estimated to be 3+ hours, and where you weren't allowed to accompany your dog during the exam due to COVID restrictions. (note: these things don't seem to be unreasonable; I appreciate that there even are 24-hour emergency clinics with trained staff who shouldn't have to be exposed to COVID). However, Daniel Mora was very accommodating of our situation, arranging to meet us in a parking lot in Woodland. I was able to drive straight there with our dog and we met with no waiting.. He did an exam and provided antibiotic and pain relief medication (along with reassurance), and detailed instructions for how to treat our dog over the next week, including what symptoms would warrant more invasive interventions and require another veterinary visit. He spent an hour on all of this, and his rates were very reasonable. We are home now and our dog is resting in her bed with ice on the bite. I can't say enough about how awesome Daniel was with helping us deal with this stressful situation. I am so grateful for this service!”
