“I am always happily appreciative of this gallery. Exhibits are carefully curated and the works of selected artists are on a high skill level. I came this evening to see Paul Pitsker watercolor works His carefully limited palette brings freshness and lucidity to finished works, making excellent use of the white of the paper. The delicate detail is delicious.”

“We attended this new Philip Martin Gallery location opening January 7th…♥️ LOVE their large, new gallery space! Wonderful light and a great backdrop for the art. The Sophie Treppendahl exhibition is very special. Her witty life moments and warm, lush colors are delightful. Philip and Lucy were both super nice, helpful and fun to talk to. You can tell they are very knowledgeable and really love art. Definitely an essential gallery to check out in the vibrant LA art scene.”

“Hector is an artist himself in his work and craftsmanship! He helps with the design process and has helped steer me in the right direction when I'm not sure what i want and has made the frames enhance the art itself. He has done wonderful work on anything from simple local art pieces to my collection of Dali's. My number one choice in the Bay Area for framing, best work and very fair pricing.”

“My 9 year old daughter and I stopped in at Lu Martin Galleries tonight during the First Thursday Art Walk. Lu Martin could not have been more kind and welcoming to my daughter and I. She had the best stories about the paintings, in addition to some wonderful life advice. My daughter picked out a special painting by Lu Martin, and was thrilled to hang up her first painting in her room. Thank you Lu Martin for giving us a special experience tonight!”

“I took a Leather Earrings Craft Workshop with May on 12/4/21. It. Was. Amazing!!! The other students were fabulous company, and I can't say enough great things about May as a teacher and facilitator. She is so friendly and warm. She had beautiful materials. She provided excellent guidance and suggestions when needed. And she knew just what we needed to keep the flow of the class. We got to do the fun stuff, selecting, cutting, and arranging materials, while she punched holes, added jump rings, and earring hooks. We all were able to make several beautiful sets of earrings to keep or gift. They looked amazing. It was wonderful to be creative and focused for a few hours. I LOVE to craft, but sometimes you want to experiment without purchasing all the tools and materials necessary to complete a project. This workshop was the perfect example of a class that allowed me to be completely creative without having to worry about purchasing materials and tools, learning about using those materials and tools, and then storing those materials and tools indefinitely in my garage (adding to my husband's great sadness over the state of our garage). This class happened during COVID, and I felt very safe. Everyone was wearing masks.”
