“I was put in here back in 2013. I was coming off drugs and some serious life changes and had a complete mental breakdown. These people were a blessing and I can say I haven’t been in any sort of trouble to get me sent back and I’ve been sober ever since! This place is seriously a blessing for me. The food was better than jail, they let you watch movies and stay up pretty late. They gave me cigarettes until someone brought me some(quit those too!) they always had clean clothes and fresh bedding something I was not used to. The staff was extremely polite patient and understanding, even though I was out of it for awhile. The doctors initially did a check on me and decided I had to stay until I could pass a check. Thank god! It was probably only around 7-10 day experience but I wouldn’t change it for anything.”

Dr. Yan is thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and listens patiently. Every time I go there, I feel like I am in good hands and my medical concerns are being addressed. “Before my knee surgery, I looked at the reviews for the Hospital and was skeptical about the services since few people had bad experiences and concerns. Yesterday, finally got my knee surgery and the customer service received in admitting department was exceptional. Once I was in the Pre-Op area the RN was very professional with excellent customer service. Upon transfer to my room, the nurse in charge of my care Kiva introduce herself and explained to me the process and steps to follow. I strongly recommend the great care from her "KIVA RN”. My opinion is that she is one of "D" Best nurses I ever being with, she was very polite, kind, attentive with her patient's. She was ensuring that my medications were on time every 30 minutes. Thank You “KIVA” Also, to mention in this review, the night shift Nurse Donna and her assistant Anna were very helpful, polite, professional, and knowledgeable, kudos to them.”

“We were turned away at another urgent care because of my 15 month olds symptoms, not here, here they have REAL doctors who are willing to get the job done regardless of the risk it May carry. We were in and out in an hour total, wait time and everything. The doctor I could tell doesn’t often see children of this age but he was so kind and I could tell he tried his absolute best to get the job done. I’m very thankful for the care we received here after the day we have had. The front desk staff was kind, and the paperwork was minimal which is just an added plus. Urgent care done right !”

“I've been going to the Alpine location for over a year and the El Cajon location several times. Always helpful Always professional and their support services vast. They constantly are contacting me with additional services and assignment with personal care advocates. Never gave a we'll get back to you. I call and they walk me through the process including transferring to the appropriate dept. And immediately follow up making sure I was taken care of. Actually kind of overwhelming. Never had a health care provider so totaly concerned and do as they promised. And the amount of services including chiropractic, vision, dental. Not to mention behavioral mental services. All under one roof. More services added regularly. Crazy I believe they may actually make me well.. Thank you”

“This skilled nursing facility (it is not a nursing home) has won numerous awards and accolades, and for good reason. Edgemoor was my son's home for nearly 8 years. During that time he received outstanding and loving care from the entire staff--from the doctors to the nurses to the maintenance staff to the security staff. Edgemoor serves a very special population that can be difficult and challenging--on a good day. Their communication with our family was excellent and any concerns or complaints were handled quickly and efficiently. When our son fell seriously ill and needed hospice care, the Edgemoor doctors stepped in to provide loving and palliative care until he passed in a place where he felt love and joy. (The photos shown here are from the old Edgemoor, the new facility is state-of-the-art, beautiful, and very very clean.)”

“I have been seeing Dr.Clewell for a few months and I don't think i have had a better primary care doctor. She has listened to me and my problems and didn't dismiss at all and instead is working with me. She understands mental health can interfere at times and has always been very epithetic to me. I feel really lucky I found her office. Her office staff and nurses are also amazing. They really care about their patients and try to help me with any problems that occur. They have always been timely and hold to it as well. Truly a great office and I will be recommending her to anyone, especially if they think they are dealing with hidden illness.”
