“I don’t know the negative reviews with this place but the staff are amazing. I came in with a torn rotator cuff and came out nearly healed. Requested additional sessions and quite honestly I feel closer to how I was before. They work with you, their a walk-in clinic without having to do the appt drama. Normally you get in when you walk in, never been an issue for me. The doc is a cool guy and he definitely knows how to treat your problem.”

“September, 2025 Yes, yes, and more yes! I would say this place has now become my new favorite foot massage place. Everyone is going to have a different experience here. What I was so excited about today was that I finally got a really hard, deep, massage by truly someone who understands pressure, Muscle fascia release, and knowing when to be gentle. The guy who did my massage was really good about slowly going over each muscle area, and really digging in there to release years of built up tough muscle fibers. I was smiling and laughing more than I was screaming in pain, lol. All worth it. I tipped very well, more than 20% right off the bat, just so he knew that I was in there for a deep, physical experience. I can feel my body repairing itself as I'm typing this review, and it feels amazing. The Euphoria is still there. They basically do around 35 minutes of your back, arms and head, then around 15 minutes of your feet, then another 10 minutes or so of shoulders neck and face. The guy who did my massage was really good about doing my shoulders, arms, calves especially, and hamstrings. He uses his knuckles, elbows, forearms, you name it. But I truly felt like he really got in there and took care of all the knots. The guy that did my massage actually spoke pretty good conversational english, and was pretty good with hand signals. He would check in on me once in awhile and say "okay?" with a question mark. Oh my god, and the woman at the front desk is the national treasure! She was so sweet, and adorable. She speaks very good English, so you don't have to worry about any of that. $40 for a 1-hour foot massage is a really good price. I would say you could get three or four of these, instead of going to Burke williams. Granted, those fancy places are an entirely different experience, but when I get a massage, it's purely because I need Muscle Therapy. Oh, they do have a frequent flyer card of sorts. I think if you get 10 massages, the next one is half off, or something similar. Make sure to get your card stamped when you pay. The lady at the desk will initial it, so they know how many times you've been there. What I also love is the parking! Thank goodness this is in a parking lot with around 12 or 14 spaces shared with Bobby's Diner next door. There's also at least two or three handicap spots that I saw, and also about 6 metered spots out in front on Ventura. Side note, if you are curious, I did ask the lady at the front desk if they were associated with "Relax Massage" about a block further west on ventura. She said they are not. What I like about this spot, Island, is that they do have curtains if you're concerned about privacy. Even though there were about six or eight tables next to each other, you don't have to be out in the open like some other places are. You can ask them to close the curtain for your specific table. I absolutely had a wonderful time today, and I would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a truly hardcore, Muscle fascia release, deep and intense massage. I guess if you wanted something a little more tame, and softer, definitely let the wonderful lady at the front desk know what kind of experience you'd like, and she'll recommend the right person to work on you. Great job Island Foot Spa! I will definitely be back again and again.”

“I had an amazing experience with Dante as my physical therapist after my Achilles tendon rupture. He is not only highly skilled but also incredibly supportive and encouraging. Dante gave me the confidence and tools I needed to get back on the court, guiding me through every stage of recovery with patience and professionalism. He tailored my rehab plan to fit my personal goals, and thanks to his expertise, I’ve regained strength, mobility, and confidence. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better therapist. Highly recommend Dante to anyone looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable PT!”

“We are so blessed to have found Kristin at a time when we felt like giving up on therapy. Kristin is so dedicated and hard-working and constantly thinking of ways to help her kiddos. Since we started therapy a little over a year ago, our son has improved posture, head control, and trunk strength. The electrical stimulation is helping to loosen up his arms and hands and we have purchased a unit to use at home as well. She has also helped us with finding the right equipment to help keep him in the best posture. I would highly recommend Kristin to any parents looking for someone who will think outside of the box and never give up on the kids. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and truly loves what she does!”

“I have been coming to this clinic for my physical therapy and really enjoyed it. Kate, my physical therapist, designs different treatment plans depending on the specific condition. She also has many printouts and videos of my home exercise programs that were very helpful. I always go home feeling better after each treatment session. The employees, Nate and Anna, and various other students were courteous and helpful as well. Overall, I really have to say this is an awesome place!”
