“Amazing hike! I couldnt find the Hole in the wall trailhead (left of the visitors center) so I did the Barber Peak Loop Trail (6 miles). Super long and so parts don’t have a marker. I kept going straight and stayed “close” to the rocks. I saw cows on the trail and you can also bring horses. On my way back I almost took the hoop trail back but I went into the canyon instead. Great hike took me about 2.5 hours”

If you've never stood before Majestic Mountains and looked over what I call the Top Of The World and looked over the other side, with a million pine trees , and a smell that will make you feel like you are in heaven, then this place is a must see and should be at the top of your bucket list. Located approximately 8 miles Northeast off of hwy.190 you make a left just passed Quaker Meadow and follow the well maintained dirt road and follow the small orange arrows. Mind you, there are only 2. Never been on a horse or in the back country? You MUST go to this place. At the very Top of The High Sirra Range. Absolutely Gorgeous. Tell Steven Day Tracey Sent You. They are available for Day rides half day rides, or they can take you on a long ride, drop you off with a Camp Cook and Guide and You can Stay a week.!!”

“My family very much enjoyed renting through Happy Trails Rental. The online booking was smooth, the reminder emails helped, the extra blankets/goggles/gloves that were provided by Ben the owner were appreciated and the GPS navigation was great as a 1st time off road driver. What really stood out was the customer service as we somehow snuck onto the rental calendar for December 31st but Ben did not cancel our reservation. Much appreciated and much respect. If you want an amazing experience off roading, Happy Trails Rental is the only place to go to.”

Quality adjudicators, decent venues (though I don't love the choral warm-up room at Fullerton is so far from the performance venue) and a good overall experience. Taking students again in March and excited to see what they have planned for us! Good price, doable even for students that are lower-income.”

“Our rental was at the Westshire lodge #006. This trip went from optimistically good to very bad to great. Initially my review went from 5 stars to 1 stars. The reason being was because there was an issue with the septic tank. Mind you that we were only aware of this issue a few days before our booking. After waiting for the green light the day of the booking, we got the green light for our stay. The house itself was amazing. It’s literally as seen in the photos so this house will not disappoint! Unfortunately for us the septic tank no longer worked so we forced to leave the house the next day. Very inconvenient and upsetting as we had already settled in! Now the reason Why I’m giving this a 5 star rating is because of Crystal, who was amazing in handling the whole situation. For the inconvenience she provided us 2 homes to accommodate our stay within a matter of minutes. Mind you that there were 18 of us and I had family who came from out of state. She allowed us to stay in our original rental so that we could at least utilize the dock since we had brought 2 skis with us. Even though the 2 houses were on the opposite site of each other and did not compare to our original home, it did provide us a bed and a table to eat. Overall my family and I still enjoyed our stay at Donnor lake even with everything that was going on Crystal was professional and amazing throughout the whole process and my family and I will definitely be back in the near future.”
