“A beautiful space with something for everyone! This beautiful, energy-efficient and accessible building is amazing. As part of the Arapahoe Libraries, you can request and access an astonishing amount of resources. The building has study rooms and meeting rooms. They have a 3D printer and the equipment to transfer records, VHS, and more to digital media. Play space outside for kids is zero entry and encourages free play. Teen room provides an excellent space for teens to be themselves with glass walls to block off their noise. Comfortable places to sit, work, and read with good light and huge windows.”

“I love Smoky Hill Library! I come here to study around 4-5 times per week and I haven’t had a single bad experience here. The staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have a wide selection of books and other resources, as well as easy-to-use and up-to-date technology available. They have a variety of tables to work at on the second level and a gorgeous fireplace and balcony. They even have an awesome cafe with plenty of delicious coffee, snack, sandwich, and pastry options. This is one of my favorite places in Colorado and I’ll always keep coming back. I like to call this place my second home. Thank you for providing such an incredible atmosphere for this community, Smoky Hill!!”

First Plymouth Congregational Church

Address: 3501 S Colorado Blvd, Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113, USA

Church Library

“This is a Progressive Christian church where the ministers deliver thought provoking messages each week. I felt like I was falling away from traditional Christianity until I found this church and my faith has been restored. No judgment, no exclusion, the feeling I get when I come here is very accepting and open! Every other church I visited always wanted people to be “saved”. Here at first Plymouth UCC, they teach about Jesus’s life and teachings and use the Bible more as a metaphor and accept that each person has their own personal spiritual journey and God loves everyone, no matter their faith or beliefs. I’m a scientist and I’m more spiritual and I like to meditate and I accept all faiths as special. I found this church to be completely accepting of all faiths and of science and evolution. We have people from all walks of life coming to this church because they are all accepted and loved. Many people in my family are not specifically Christian and they love coming to this church with me because they don’t feel judged. On thanksgiving this church collaborates with a Jewish Temple and other faiths to come together in love! The social justice activities they are passionate in are also in line with my passion to help our community and protect those who are less fortunate. I’ve learned a lot about Whole Earth and recycling, Immigration issues, LGBTQ advocacy, misogyny, equal rights for men and women. I just love how progressive and liberal this church is....and at the same time we sing some traditional Hymms on Sundays. They have a beautiful organist and choir. I will definitely keep coming to this church where I don’t have to worry about anyone going to Hell if they don’t believe a certain way.”
