(September 7, 2022, 4:02 pm)I just finished my remote EMDR training. I cannot recommend the Maiberger Institute enough. The trainings were seamless from start to finish, full of applicable information to be able to deliver material in a compassionate and practical way. Barb is a rock star.
(August 31, 2022, 6:28 pm)Barb has developed a comprehensive, easy to follow curriculum that is well explained with plenty of time for practice. The facilitators for my training, Sarah and Erin are a fantastic resource. They are all patient, competent and invested in each individual's learning.
(June 16, 2022, 11:01 am)Taking this training was the best decision I had made in my entire career thus far. Barb brings a wealth of knowledge of EMDR, she is easy to follow and learn from, and she reminds us to be gentle in our learning. She and her consultants balanced the learning environment very well as delivered with professionalism, authenticity, gentleness, culturally sensitivity, and wit/humor. The experiential pieces really help with bridging the gaps between what is being learned, and HOW it feels to utilize and practice the modality. Barb truly is magic and is an expert in this craft, and the consultants are full of beautiful energy and are incredible guides. It has transformed my clinical work, and I get to witness the healing and power my clients get to claim back through EMDR. Thank you, Maiberger Institute!
(June 10, 2022, 11:31 am)This year I completed the EMDR training with Barb Maiberger through the Maiberger Institute, and this training was one of the most organized, intentional, thorough, and supportive professional trainings I have ever experienced. I completed the training in an online cohort which met in November 2021 and February 2022, and in April I completed the group consult requirements, which were also incredibly organized, intentional, and supportive for my development as an EMDR therapist and somatically-oriented practitioner. I highly recommend this training if you are ready to learn, practice, and grow. This training is NOT a sit back, turn off your camera, and get your credit kind of training. It is *highly* experiential, and it is highly likely that you will meet your edges. If you genuinely engage this training, which the training is designed to elicit, you WILL grow through this experience! And your clients will benefit!! Best wishes in your pursuits!!
(June 6, 2022, 11:29 am)As a clinician, supervisor and teacher, I can say that the remote training is one of the best I've attended. Barb is skilled and has a great balance of warmth and efficiency. The staff are also skilled and they are a beautiful compliment to the whole experience. I left feeling confident and prepared due to the intense experiential component (LOTS OF PRACTICE!!!). I highly recommend this training!
