  We had a wonderful experience taking Bethany's birth class. She is so knowledgeable and being a part of this class helped prepare us for our first birth. Not only is she a wonderful person and joy to spend time with, you will walk away feeling ready for anything! Very highly recommended!

  We hired Bethany Melton of Boulder County Birth Services.
  
  Bethany did a marvelous job keeping me in the right mindset through my labour and delivery! As someone else has said on here, I really think having Bethany is one of the main factors that helped me have a smooth natural birth. She kept me calm, and helped my husband be a marvelous support as well! She always knew what to say and also when speaking would not help.
  
  The only reason I did not put 5 stars is because of some of the advice she provided for helping me go into labour naturally. I did some research on some of her suggestions and could not find evidence that the suggested methods really did anything positive for going into labour/ starting contractions. She was supportive of my decisions not to use those methods, though, and made clear that she expects Mom's to look into her suggestions and make their own decisions.

  My husband and I are so happy we hired Bethany as our Doula! It was a huge goal of mine to birth naturally and I believe I was only able to do it because of Bethany! I contacted her just a couple weeks before delivering but she quickly provided resources for us to prepare as well as comfort as she answered all of our questions. On the day of delivery Bethany walked me through every step of labor and was in tune with everything I needed even when I didn’t know I needed it (I.e. changing positions, essential oils, drinking fluids). On top of all that she completely honored our birth plan and helped us and those around us to stick to it as well! I can go on forever about Bethany but all in all, we are so thankful we found her and we highly recommend her!

  Bethany was a wonderful resource for us during pregnancy and the birth of our daughter. I chose her because I found her to be warm and easy to talk to but also because of her background as an RN. Ultimately we had a planned c-section because our daughter was transverse but Bethany was very helpful as we were trying to get the baby turned around and as we were deciding how to proceed when that didn't work.

  Bethany is a very knowledgeable instructor and we felt totally prepared for the birth of our first. The curriculum was thorough and inspiring. I'd recommend her class to anyone!
