“Our favorite bagel shop in Boulder. Easy parking. Some indoor seating and a few tables outdoors as well. The owners are very supportive of local events and non profits, sports teams, etc. This shop serves breakfast bagels, sandwiches, and coffee and soft drinks, along with a variety of other drinks like fruit juice and kombucha. It can be busy on weekends mornings, but they are always friendly and efficient.”

“I just moved right down the road from this little gem. I come from New Jersey and we have a place back there called “Uncle Doods” these donuts are side by side in amazement. Puts other donuts straight to shame. The lady working there was such a sweetheart to my boy. Me and my son will definitely be making this our Sunday morning thing from now on”

“Not only does Spruce Confections have yummy food (burritos, sweet confections) and delicious drinks (coffee, juices, etc.); every Sunday from 9:30-11:30 there is joyful music in the sweet courtyard on the side. A great band—string instruments and singing—has been playing for the last 15 years (and who I just recently discovered). Old time jazz and tunes that make your feet tap and your head nod. Great folks and fun atmosphere!”

“Over 10 years ago, I met Robin for the first time when I went looking for a special and unique gift for my elementary school daughter, who had recently won "Student of the Month" at her school. Robin didn't have her storefront on Airport road yet, and she was obviously very busy that day, but she took the time to listen to me ramble about how excited I was for my little girl. Robin didn't know it at the time, but I was also going through a pretty messy divorce and had about $18 to my name. After Robin showed me some options, I settled on one of her caramel pecan turtles. But knowing it was for my daughter, Robin got a small basket, added some tissue paper (and I think if memory serves me right, she also a small teddy bear), and then turned the one turtle truffle into a truffle train of 3 turtles and added a few extra chocolates. I protested that I could only afford the one truffle today, and she told me that the rest was complementary because "these others didn't come out quite right so we can't sell them." (I'm not sure if that last part was true or if she was trying to save my pride, but I suspect the latter.) Ever since that day, I've purchased from her at every opportunity and recommended her to all of my friends. And then tonight, I drove all the way out to the store only to find out that the Google posted open hours were wrong and the store was already closed. On a long shot, I called the store to see if anyone was there and apologetically asked if there was any way I could come inside to complete a purchase. Robin herself was in the back working late and obliged with a smile, though I was interrupting her pre-Valentine's-Day-After-Hours-Chocolate-Making marathon. Outside of being a master of her craft and creating chocolates with delicious and completely unique flavor profiles, Robin is an amazing human being and her shop deserves all the accolades and 5 star reviews that she has and more. Highly recommended.”

“EDIT: I did have some issues with both product and customer service at first but they stepped up and made it right, which im definitely satified with. also so far I have not had a repeat of the issues I had with the bread so far, so I'm just gonna say it may have been a bad batch. Overall, with any prior issues aside, its been an ok experience and the bread is a pretty good quality, definitely better than most other store brands.”

“The food was fresh, tasty, authentic, cooked perfectly and surprisingly filling. The dining room was well kept, bright and cheery. The staff was delightful, seriously, that's the only word to describe them. We came in after being in town almost a week, have tried out a half dozen other more expensive restaurants. I love flavorful well made food. I'm also not afraid to give 2 star reviews. This place was one of maybe two restaurants that I will be happy to spend my hard earned money with again. They earn their good reviews, you won't regret eating here.”

“Our tour stopped in the historic town of Lyons. We visited St. Vrain Market and South Creek Limited Bamboo Rods. I thought the market was very neat & tidy. They pack a lot of choices into a finite space. They have everything from fresh produce to fresh baked bread, pastries & quiche. They have a fresh deli with cooked, pre packed meals if you want to grab something for a picnic on the mountain. The prices were average for a small town market, its expected to be a little higher.”

“We've enjoyed their gluten free pie shells. Their gluten free quiche and chicken pot pie are also delicious. They've really nailed gluten free baking!!!”

“This place is delicious. A little bit of a drive for me but definitely worth it. They tend to heap on the cream cheese and will give you plenty of lox with a bagel and lox. Their coffee is pretty on point as well. If ordering a mocha or other flavored drink you may want to ask for them to calm down on the pumps as these drinks can be incredibly sweet.”

“I have only had Blueberry Pie so far but I am smitten and have to say MMMM GOOD! Thank you Lucky Pie for making my favorite pie so well! Highly recommend this pie shop, you can request custom baking of your pie to suit your dietary or likings. For example I have requested more fruit with minimal sugar. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS place will be back and I will also refer you to my friends and family.”

“We’ve been in a bread drought since Babettes closed their doors in Denver in November but the wait was worth it (as was the drive). Catherine and Steve have long been making the best bread and pastries in Colorado (please do yourself a favor and get a morning bun) and now they’ve added pizza to the list. The crust was crunchy, the toppings superb. We loved every scrumptious bite. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.”

“I have recently discovered how to park at this place after driving by it for years and wondering. I’m so glad I did because they are lovely. The coffee is outstanding.. as is the sourdough bread but the best part is Bryce who I assume is the owner of this fine establishment. It is clear he is 100% invested in making every aspect of the business and my experience there excellent. A good coffee place is critical to a good day for me and these guys deliver. Highly recommended.”
