“We called Josh at Empirical Construction after a horrible experience with a different contracting company left our 1905 Victorian home in disarray. We decided to take over the job ourselves, however needed some expert opinion to help guide us through permitting and building. Josh jumped right into our job without hesitation. This is saying a lot given the state of our home at the time! Josh was willing to write up a consulting contract for us and we called him when we had questions that were holding up our job. He came over and did walk-throughs with us (often on the same day we called for help). He was thorough in his recommendations, helping guide us through the process. Josh was very knowledable and pointed out things we would have never thought about. He's also very personable and listens to what the home owner wants. “I had a great experience with Flying Beds. I have a small space that I wanted to get the most out of. I have family visiting me sporadically that I want to accommodate, but that doesn’t happen often enough for me to have a dedicated guest room. So I went to FB for the best custom Murphy bed I could find in the area. They worked with me on design, since I needed the wood (I needed alder wood with a dark stain to complement my floors) to match my floors and I wanted the folded the bed to be useful when it’s closed up. We decided to add shelving units so that it’s multipurpose. The assembly was a quick process and I was impressed by how prepared and professional everyone at the company was. The work was cleanly executed and I am very happy with the results!”
