“We try to go to the dog park at least once a week and this one is convenient and well kept. Most people pick up after their dogs, and there's usually a good amount of dogs that will break off into groups to play. Make sure to bring water especially when it's hot, and sometimes there's no poo bags available so I usually just bring my own. When it rains or snows it's a mud pit so be prepared to bath your dog after! I'm sure a few have thought my dog is too obnoxious - but that is why there's two sections. If your dog only weighs 8 pounds, you should be in the small/low energy section. For lots of people in the area this is the only place their pet gets to really run and play, and sometimes they get over excited, it's how dogs are. That's also why children are not allowed, to the comments complaining about that. It's a dog park, not a children's park. Some dogs don't have experience with kids and it's better to avoid those kind of situations.”
