We had a tent spot reserved but forgot our tent and they had a cabin available and let us get it last minute. The bathrooms were clean and it's close to a bunch of fun stuff. Highly recommend if you are staying in the Colorado Springs area.
This was a great campground for the kids. It had a really nice fishing pond and play area. We had a nice site by the river and saw some deer when it was getting dark. Raccoons came out at night, so be aware.
The best of the best. Feels like home away from home. The owners and their crew are so kind and accommodating. We have had some vehicle problems and they have truly gone above and beyond. If your looking for a nice safe campground, you found it!
Stayed 1 night. Very nice park with clean restrooms/showers. Quiet at night. Owners are very friendly. The entrance driveway is pretty steep, so have your speed down when taking the exit. Not difficult, just something to be aware of. We enjoyed it and would stay here again.
Very nice owners, cabins are nice. Lots to do and a family friendly atmosphere. Laundry room on site, as well as a dish washing station. Decent sized playground/swing set for the kids. Pet friendly. Fishing in the pond is also available. Used to have breakfast that consisted of a pancake with 2 sausage links, but since the COVID thing, they've had to stop, so I recommend to bring your own food. Free good coffee in the mornings, I believe they make it around 5am. The camping spots do have fire pits with a little grill top where you can cook, but you have to purchase the firewood upfront or, again, bring your own.
They have a pet duck named Gary and he's so cute.
The biggest thing and maybe the only thing I have to complain about is the bathrooms. The women's bathroom is always gross, especially the showers. They clean it once a day, but it pretty much stays always dirty. I'd recommend they clean and disinfect it more often, especially with so many people from everywhere in and out of there frequently.
FYI: The middle shower is the best for hot water. I've heard from my husband that it's the same for the men's room.
