“I have been fencing in the Adult Electric Epee Section of FRFC for a little over a year. The coaches are great! They are interested in improving the students' ability and responsive to student needs. Late last year the Section, went from an hour a week class to 1 1/2 hours a week. This was definitely needed. One hour to set up, practice and cool down was insufficient to improve the skills of the students. My only recommendation for improvement is to regularly dedicate some or all of the additional 1/2 hour to drills. While everyone enjoys open bouting and probably dislikes drills, teaching memory during drills is important to improve fencing techniques. On another note, I took the summer camp last June which was 20 hours of coaching. I feel that this attendance really improved my fencing skills.”

“Rating a school can be tricky as every student is different, but we love this school. We moved to the area from across the country and had trouble finding out which schools were good. We love it here. The principal frequently hosts open house coffee events for parents to make contact and keep in touch. The PTA is very well organized and accomplishes a lot for the school. (They gave out magnet calendars in August with all the important dates and fundraisers for the year.) My child's teacher sends out weekly updates and responds to emails quickly. My child feels loved and respected in the classroom and is thriving in school as a result. The class parents organize and run holiday parties that every family can attend. (Halloween, winter, Valentine's Day, etc.) We feel welcome in the school community and are glad we chose this elementary school. Plus, the view from the parking lot is pretty nice.”

“So incredibly thankful to be a part of this amazing church. Pastors Shawn and Jennifer are genuine, intentional, and have a true heart to serve the Lord. My kids absolutely LOVE the Children’s Ministry; they run from the parking lot to the check-in table. When you pull into the parking lot and walk through the doors there is no doubt that you are welcome in this place. Heights feels like home. There are so many other amazing aspects of this church....you just have to see for yourself.”
