Palmer Park

Address: 3344-3376 Paseo Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80909, USA

Park

“Beautiful and impressive place for hiking. There are many trails to choose and the park is huge, so definitely everyone will find something fitting - easy, medium or a bit harder trail. Rock formations are not so big like in Garden of the Gods, but for nature lovers surely great because of variety of shapes. Even experienced hiker will be busy for few days to be able to say that he saw everything. For me it's the best park in Colorado Springs.”

“This is an off-leash area within Palmer Park near Templeton and Yucca Trails. It is not the dog park .3 miles off Maizeland Road near the entrance of Palmer Park. This is a scenic area with tremendous views and wide easy trails that are perfect for curious dogs. Its also quiet and peaceful despite being in the middle of the city.”

“Needs some improvements as far as cleanliness. It has a great splash pad that goes all summer long, a dog park, bathrooms, and a nice playground. It's never very crowded so we come here a lot.”

Legacy Plaza - Gateway to Legacy Loop

Address: 1800 Recreation Way, Colorado Springs, CO 80907, USA

Park

“Originally, this was a fenced in parking lot for Colorado Springs Utilities and Parks and Recreation. I'm happy that they made use of the unused space and turn it into a trail head parking. It's also another spot for park and rides (car/vanpooling). There's trash cans nearby, but could use restrooms because it's a 10-mile trailhead. But, if there were restrooms, it may bring unwanted guest and degrade safety.”

Bonforte Park

Address: 2323 N Wahsatch Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80907, USA

Park

“Very well maintained park, beautiful grass and ball diamonds with bleachers. Nice shade for the street parking. In addition to the stick bathroom they had a porta John near the ball diamond that was about a 150 yards from the stick bathroom. Great handicap access all around.”
