“I struggled greatly to find a Primary Physician after mine had left the state. I've struggled with PTSD and anxiety for the majority of my life, but has been exacerbated in the last few years. The first few providers that I went to I couldn't connect with. One in particular, named Dr. Kumfer was absolutely awful to me, and treated me like dirt on his shoe. He was condescending and I was so taken aback by his lack of compassion. The staff at this office office was kind, accommodating, knowledgeable, and compassionate as they listened to me explain my problem. “I LOVE LOVE LOVE working at Pima in COS! After 30 years in general practice, I am so happy to share my experiences and make new memories with the students and staff. The students are so amazing that I get sad when then leave! Many of them keep in touch and visit when they are nearby or in town. People that I meet in the veterinary field (and the human medical field for that matter) are excited to tell me all about the incredibly talented Vet Techs and Vet Assistant students that have landed at their location after attending Pima. They are asking me to KEEP THEM COMING!! The leadership is supportive and approachable. They make a great effort to celebrate and show appreciation for the students and the instructors throughout the year. A shout out during a staff meeting means a lot to those of us that are teaching every day! We are proud to be celebrating Pima Medical Instutitute's 50Th anniversary and kudos to the really popular, soft and comfortable 50th anniversary t-shirts. . .my evening students wear them EVERY casual Thursday night! “I got the second dose of my covid vaccine from Chris- he was lovely and professional, and I barely felt the shot! Unfortunately, he was all on his own to manage a long line of people getting shots. No one was working the front desk area of the clinic so he had to do it all alone. Hopefully king soopers and the little clinic will make sure they have enough staff in the future to handle this high volume, because Chris (and all essential workers) deserve to work in a less stressful environment! He handled it like a true champ though, so give that man a raise!! :)”
