Crystal Valley Cemetery

Absolutely gorgeous space. Very peaceful. Mix of very old & very new headstones. And lovely, unique views of Garden of the Gods. American Legion has also marked gravesites of veterans w flags so that’s nice as well.

My whole family is buried here and I love how quite and peacefully it is there. Quaint little cemetary.

Crystal Valley Cemetery is on the National Register of Historic Places and its history is apparent. Just running down the center, there were birth dates I saw as early as 1837. I was here because it is the entrance to Intemann Trail that is connector to a series of trails behind Mannitou Springs. With as busy as the Incline has made Mannitou, it was nice to find an area that was still secluded and wild. It is an excellent morning hike or short trail run with views of history, the mountains, the town of Mannitou, and even Garden of the Gods.

Very beautiful place esp for inside of town
